Last month someone asked me about "Welcome in" (as opposed to just "Welcome," I mean), and I was thinking I hadn't heard it before, which I now think is highly unlikely since I have heard it at least half a dozen times in the past week alone.

If you have a preference, which one of these do you prefer? 1. I worked with them for five years, she worked with them for seven years. 2. I worked with them for five years; she worked with them for seven years. Do you consider one of them wrong?
