I'm posting this again for the morning people: Romancelandia authors/writers/etc., you do not have to use Substack, and in fact you should absolutely leave Substack. This platform monetizes white supremacists, so why do you want to hang out with a bunch of Nazis?

I continue to gnash my teeth at the fact that Arthropic stole my editorial work when they ingested literally hundreds of books I edited, but I'm happy at least some authors will be getting some amount of money in compensation.

Writers, I highly recommend this ep which really dives into story structure. Lots of the thriller/mystery stuff applies to romance or provides a contrast that you'll find thought-provoking!

Hey, Romancelandia editors/experts who do conference teaching/speaking: Do you always get a discount on reg? I'm not a keynote-level speaker so I do expect to pay, but a conf. booked me to teach 3 workshops & didn't provide a discount code. I've asked 2x for more info; no response. Thoughts?
Romancelandia over here remembering that @fatedmates.net ep where they talked about a book where the hero was a guy who Zeus (Zeus? Someone else?) cursed to become a tree and eventually he got chopped down and turned into a door…and yes what I'm saying is the hero of that book was a door.
