so niche movie thoughts. my family got me to watch Tuner last night and it was entertaining enough. Dustin did his usual, the leads were ok. but some seriously egregious piano errors had me bitching, much to my kids amusement. who consulted on this? 😱😱

Piano and harpsichord mechanic. Occasional mediocre musician. New Orleans. Music geek, obnoxious fan of the Saints, Pelicans and Manchester United, rum snob. J’y suis, j’y reste.
and didn’t get them jobs that paid a living wage, just kicked them off. as Jesus told them to do. charity is Satans work, after all.

have both, and got the battery jumper after some fancy folks at Whole Paycheck couldn’t be bothered to help me out.
Yep. Then throw in the portable tire inflator and you're basically a rolling mechanic.
and til the investors ready to buy in are led by Kushner’s brother. why does this not surprise me? corruption everywhere you turn.
Please kick him out. He’s the most corrupt ever, which is a lot speaking of FIFA
exactly this. it’s not a damn palace.
Hey- architectural historian here. The White House is neither grand nor elegant. That was by design and really the only outstanding quality it has architecturally. It is a house for the people, not a mansion for a shithead.
I actually don’t mind flying, especially if I snag a window seat and get to see sunrise over the clouds, but airports drive me nuts and flying Southwest out of National is one of the worst.
deciding whether or not to get really excited over this… maybe when they pass the Yankees. but it is pretty cool.
Fenway Park was 34 years old. A 6-year-old future Hall of Famer named Carl Yastrzemski was just picking up a bat. World War II had just ended. It was 1946, and that was the last time the Red Sox had a 15-game winning streak. On a franchise milestone: www.nytimes.com/athletic/746...

my friend wanted to open a chain of vasectomy clinics in airports, especially by international arrivals, still think it’s a good concept
Watching a child have a meltdown in the airport because his dad won’t let him throw his suitcase on the ground is some pretty effective birth control
Lane Grigsby's march to shut down public schools in Louisiana marches on, as kids are resegregated. Wealthy white kids will go to private/religious schools, and poor kids/kids of color will be pushed out of their defunded public schools and into for-profit charters. share.google/pndgyETZqlA0...

The Peacock Room, first saw it in high school and I go back and sit there every time I’m back in DC.
The Coronation of Napoleon by Jacques-Louis David, 1807. I first saw it in my Wonderful World of Disney Encyclopedia when I was about six years old and never forgot it. I did get to see it in the Louvre, almost 30 years later.
