There used to be a patronising sign on the back of one of the toilets at work that said “ladies, remember to flush” in pink writing and I let it be until my colleague mentioned it yesterday, so when I saw it today I pulled it down and threw it in the tampon bin

"What they’re doing to the little fellas in Gaza, from our land, it’s not right. We feel responsible. We never gave permission. My grandfather couldn’t even speak English when they built the base. We weren’t asked." - Felicity Hayes, Arrernte elder and Kuyunba traditional owner. #PineGap #auspol

Here's my story from Pine Gap. "The fight to end the US military occupation of Australia (and the entire world)" It's a photo-essay this time because I took a tonne of pics, the country being this stunning, to help convey the Arrernte's struggle.

If perceptions of gender and race weren’t a factor we could be honest as a society and admit that along with being some of the greatest rap artists of all time, OutKast are also some of the greatest pop artists of all time

Picked my cat up when I got home from work and her butthole touched my hand cause she was so full of poop, but when we went outside did she poop? No, she screamed and screamed until I sat down to supervise

Outlook recall email function is hilarious, it’s like I can see you have stepped on a rake, may I offer you a much larger rake to make sure no one misses it?

Two days after my cat gets her arthritis injection she’s scaling fences she’s not supposed t. Gonna ask the vet to lower her dose next time, leave a little ritis in there

My work nemesis said “I need to pick your brain, you give off creative vibes” which is such a fucking slam, but I don’t put any effort into my appearance for work and get my own back plenty so, fair

Flaring today, so here's an article on what's happening. One day, my current treatment will probably be unsafe to continue, and I may need to go on Ocrevus. I cannot afford the new price & I don't know a single person with MS that could. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-07...

Critical drugs could be pulled from PBS amid pricing stoush

The fog didn’t burn off today. I’ve never seen that before in my life, it was 2pm and still foggy, and now it’s 4pm and the trees in the distance have disappeared again. Just hung around all day, even in the sun. Weird.

The GP told me my cholesterol was normal and I was like “oh my god! I eat like shit I thought you were gonna put me on cholesterol meds! Haha!” and she was like “uhhhhhhh well let’s just hold on a second now” but jokes on her, I beat the system

It’s crazy that no one has congratulated me for my restraint re: Margaret Qualleys divorce, I’ve barely posted a thing but you should know that my smugness could power major cities, she’s stepping out with a new beau and everything while that rejected peanuts character mopes

The absolute fucking state of it!!!! We said we hoped for trains to be back for peak hour but waited until it was past 5 to tell everyone to go fuck themselves and figure it out!!!!! As though people who got the train into the city have “their own transport” to get home with!!!!!

Speaking to reporters at lunchtime, V/Line chief executive William Tieppo said the operator was hoping to restore service by the afternoon peak, but by 5.05pm, V/Line advised passengers service would not be restored into tomorrow morning.
“Services continue to be impacted following the national Telstra outage,” the message read. “This includes all services tonight and tomorrow morning. Passengers are advised to defer travel where possible.”
