I have to push back on something. LLMs exist becuase someone thought it could work and it did. Very few pieces of technology are built with the intention to use them for harm. The way they're being marketed, maintained, and sold absolutley does, but the tech itself isn't inherently evil.

Youth social media bans are going to deeply harm queer kids who have no other method of understanding that they aren't broken and alone. This wouldn't be the case if fascists weren't hard at work eliminating any and all means of queer media being seen by young people.
To put this another way, France has completely de-anonymized internet access in a way that is burdensome and won't solve any of the problems it tries to solve.

Assuming any of this is real, I will burn my stream to the ground and bury the ashes if they want to start feeding my streams to the Gen AI machine. I'll stream somewhere else. Nowhere. I don't care. I'll go outside and setup a projector or something. I'm so fucking sick of this. No one wants this.

So, I got two of the same vintage TEAC cassette player, one which is a pristine working example with some superficial defects, and one that looks perfect but has mechanical issues. Gonna see if I can give the working one a face lift this weekend.
