I've done 7 of the 326 endings of Shadow the Hedgehog in the past two days and I gotta say, I see the vision now. Shadow got the sauce.

Assuming any of this is real, I will burn my stream to the ground and bury the ashes if they want to start feeding my streams to the Gen AI machine. I'll stream somewhere else. Nowhere. I don't care. Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

Sometimes I feel like its a double standard that I play the worst games I can find and delight in their strangeness, but I meticulously tear apart games that I like or are from series that I like. It just feels so frustrating for a game to be 90% good only to end up fumbling it right at the end.

Hydlide games are good. Not "good". Not "fun, but flawed". Good games. Virtual Hydlide has a low framerate, and that's pretty much the only thing wrong with it. Hydlide 1 uses bump combat and has a bit of a challenging curve. Good games though.

I'm sorry, when I said "there are a lot of bad Sonic games", I was unaware of how broad the spectrum is. I was unfamiliar with Sonic and the Secret Rings' game! Putting it on the same spectrum as Sonic 06 or Black Knight does a grave disservice to those games. Secret Rings is just terrible. Awful.
