Beast of Reincarnation is out of stock in certain stores. Not the first physical game in recent months that can't meet demand. We saw this for Capcom titles as well. Shows another reason why sales numbers don't tell the full picture when it comes to consumer preference.
I agree, and I also think this approach makes people who do keep reading hidebound and inflexible when they find things they like. If your only data points are school reading lists and Harry Potter (or fill in the blank with something else poorly written and problematic), it's hard to branch out!
I swear to God, part of the problem of literacy is that we make kids read SO MANY books like this. Of course they’re going to associate reading with misery! We put them in a Skinner box and shock them when they read, what did people THINK would happen?
