I have to keep saying this. Trans rights are very unpopular on face but extremely sensitive to persuasion and question wording. In other words very few people care deeply about them, one way or another. Electorally, there is no advantage or penalty for Democrats to take one way or another.

ICE agent Christian Castro turned himself in Thursday on a federal charge of making false statements about the Jan. 14 shooting of Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis in Minneapolis. And, the federal prosecutor who said he was forced by DOJ officials in Washington to downgrade the charges has been fired.

It is very much not a good thing that this was the key take-away from the UNEP's latest report. It's a nice illustration of the effect that carbon removal has on media. The promise of fixing a threat without changing the status quo is just the exact fantasy being sought out
