Air quality in Portland was horrible today. I may have to leave for a bit because these asthma damaged lungs aren’t going to handle much more of this. I left New Orleans to get away from evacuations, I guess nowhere is safe. I hate fossil fuels.
I live in Oregon now and despite missing the wildlife im really glad to be away from the idiots that run Louisiana. For the folks there, stop obsessing about the gotdam saints and tigers and improve things, I swear Saints and Tigers distractions are a huge detriment
Southwest Louisiana, Where the only good memories of my father were formed are gonna get ruined, sucks, but nothing good nationally is gonna happen for a while.
I went to the eye Dr. today and my prescription got better, apparently that’s something that happens as you get older, plus no sign of cataracts. I’m gonna go knock on wood for saying this now.

My rental house has solar panels, the utility bill for June was $17. Fossil fuels are ridiculous.
Every big box store and mall parking lot could have covered parking under solar panels providing covered parking and electricity.

I hate cars and I hate my car, I could be buying this, but instead I’ll be getting new tires, for a vehicle I never drive.
Seeing how extreme heat triggers my migraines I’m glad I left New Orleans for the pnw. I do miss cardinals, mockingbirds, blue jays, ibises and the assorted lizards though.
