I used to stream I also made a 2D platform adventure game called #CurtainsTheClown https://store.steampowered.com/app/3766820/Curtains_the_Clown/ https://grimclownjay.itch.io/

Just bouncing around from learning Blender to playing Helldivers 2, Diablo 2, and Geometry Wars. Believe it or not, I've played Geometry Wars for more hours in my lifetime than the other two combined. Maybe I should write a love letter and make a twin-stick shooter. I might have some ideas for this.

1/5 Alright folks, it's rant time. My roommate shared his Steam account with me and I've been playing a lot of Helldivers 2. I must admit, it's really fun, but you already know I have some critiques. My biggest one is how there are capes, helmets and body armor, but only the armor provides bonuses.

Using Blender is equal parts lots of fun and very frustrating. Probably why I'm enjoying the learning process so much. It's the same feeling I get from fighting a boss, learning their attack patterns and figuring out what weapons work the best. It's a grind, and I'm here for it.

1/5 I went ahead and put my last Twitch payout toward promoting my game. I reached out to General Andrews, a retro and indie enthusiast streamer with a solid viewer base. Nice guy, even worked with me on his rates so I could afford to pay him.

Drowning my sorrows in various SNES speed runs. Nothing distracts the mind quite like the sounds of my childhood and locking in to achieve a new personal best time. Probably best to just stick with what I'm actually good at.

Made an attempt at further optimizations for clown game to no avail. Nothing short of rebuilding it in a different engine is going to fix the issue I've been hearing about. Sorry to anyone who can't run it. I tried.

All this time, I thought I would be receiving a payout from Steam this month, but it turns out that reaching the $100 threshold isn't enough. It has to be over $100 after Steam takes their cut to process the payout. I made $110 in total sales, and the last sale was on Christmas. *sigh*
