NYC-DSA: Vote All Gas No Breaks to lead the next Tax the Rich campaign! This next New York budget cycle is one of the most consequential in our lifetimes. We as socialists must meet this moment, and build a campaign that empowers workers and achieves their demands!

In a new piece, Groundwork Co-Chair Joe W. argues that socialists of all tendencies should embrace the sections of DSA's new platform that advocate for constitutional reform and the expansion of direct democracy - despite the performative shock of the establishment media class. LINK BELOW ⬇️

Headed to the DSA Summit in Chicago this weekend? Come meet us Thursday night at Skylark to kick off! Open to Groundworkers, friends of Groundwork, and the Groundwork Curious!

Groundworker Chris C. from Twin Cities DSA: Socialists cannot wait to lead in the face of the climate crisis and rising fascism. We need to start planning our intervention now, in the place where the masses are: the 2028 Presidential election.

DSA's second largest chapter has voted overwhelmingly to call on AOC to run for President in 2028. Groundworkers in LA worked to draft this resolution, which will allow DSA-LA to prepare a slate of downballot candidates, discuss AOC with labor, and start basebuilding and fundraising across LA.

Groundworkers in DSA-LA lay out the benefits of preparing for an AOC run and Congressional slate now. Early investment gets our workplaces, communities, and chapters up to fighting speed so we can hit the ground running with a nationwide socialist vision. www.groundworkdsa.com/building-up/...

Groundwork Steerer and Aparna for DC Field Coordinator Carl R. describes the value of DSA getting involved with campaigns early. Early leg work is what makes the DSA Difference- from City Council to President, the first mover has the best opportunity to set the terms.

In 2028, we have an opportunity to elect a Democratic Socialist President and radically transform society. Join us Thursday to debrief this Sunday's NPC meeting and learn how you can get involved in the fight to win a national all-member poll for a Democratic Socialist President.

GW member Allison K. outlines why member polls and "paper members" are not things to be wary of but instead opportunities to expand the active layer of the organization. Our goal is to stir millions of people into political action; that requires deliberation AND mass input.

The NPC is taking a vote tomorrow determining your voice in our organization's role in the 2028 election. Just like 2020, you deserve the right to have a say in whether we endorse someone for President. Read this open letter to the NPC and sign on below! docs.google.com/document/d/1...

Groundwork NPC Member Eleanor B. asks DSA members to show up on Sunday and demand the NPC listens to convention and gives YOU a vote on our 2028 Endorsement Process! Every member deserves a say in who DSA endorses for president!

We’re making the most important decision recent DSA history - to run for President in '28. We can win unions for all, build renewable energy, and prosecute MAGA. Groundwork National Political Committee member Frances talks about why the NPC should pass the proposed endorsement process unamended.

In 2025, DSA voted to unite Labor & the Left to run for President in 2028- so let’s get started! For months, a multi-tendency committee has been crafting a plan to allow members to debate and weigh in on a '28 candidate. Now that plan heads to a vote by the National Political Committee this Sunday!

Paul, GW member and Sonoma County DSA Electoral Co-Chair, built the field operation for the Joanna Paun campaign from the ground up. Paun went on to win her primary by 16 pts, proving that DSA & mass politics were a force to be reckoned with despite the chapter only being a little over a year old.

James I., GW member and NYC-DSA Steering rep from the Bronx/Upper Manhattan, has been with Team Darializa since the beginning. He joined her kitchen cabinet in December when Darializa was seeking DSA endorsement, and was a strong advocate for demonstrating how her campaign fit GW's theory of change.

Excited to see Hasan recognizing the work of NYC-DSA and Groundworkers within it to set a model of socialist co-governance that delivers on campaign promises, expends political capital to invest in public services, and is responsive to asks from mass movements!

Groundwork NPC member Eleanor B. and GW Caucus Co-Chair Joe W. were interviewed by Middle East Eye on how Israel's genocide of Palestine and aggression across the Middle East factored into their votes in the New York Democratic Congressional primaries:

GW NPC member Kareem E. was in @thenation.com last week laying out three truths: 1. The Left can not sit out the 2028 Presidential Election 2. AOC is the only candidate that can cohere a left wing base and win 3. To cohere, she must address her failures on Palestine www.thenation.com/article/poli...

Why AOC Needs to Apologize for Her Infamous DNC Speech

She has the potential to unify the left in 2028—if she addresses her decision in 2024 to carry water for people committing the most severe crime of the 21st century.
