I also finished books! #UrsulaKLeGuin 's Powers, the last and longest of the Annals of the Western Shore trilogy, took me too long for how good the book really is, so to cleanse my palette a little I've switched to non-fiction for a bit.

I finished #FinalFantasy9 , which was beautiful and fun (thanks to the ability to speed up battles) and Memories of Life will never not give me goosebumps. Not a fan of Zidane, but the scene where Not Alone plays was superb. Such a great cast, art direction and music.

Also treated myself to my first mechanical keyboard, replacing the ergonomical work horse that served me well the past 15 years. The sound it makes is very nostalgic. :ablobcatrave:

Restored the eldest's ChromeOS installation per her request. She was fine with Debian, but it was too slow for this olde hardwaer. In return, I blocked all internet access with whitelisted exceptions, like wikikids.nl.

During my lunch break I explored a part of #Leiden I don't usually visit. Wish my neighbourhood loved plants as much as they love (parking) their cars (on the pavement).

#Homeserver running #Proxmox has been unreliable for a couple of weeks now. Random restarts (no proper reboots) and now it completely locked up the one night I was out. Can't identify the cause, logs don't indicate anything. Thinking about adding a second node to improve availability.

Forgot my wife got me this notebook during our visit to the National #Ainu Museum in #Upopoy . Its design is based on a embroidery on a mantari (waist apron) found in the museum. It's believed mantari is derived from the Japanese word for apron, 前垂れ (maedare).

We finished the living room makeover we started in September. It finally feels like our home, I'm so happy with the choices we made. :ablobcatheartsqueeze: Also bought a new TV for the first time since *checks what year #FinalFantasy XIII released* 2009. One with HDR and stuff. It's great.
