Today, as we observe Juneteenth, I’ve been thinking a lot about the words of Toni Cade Bambara. For me, it’s that phrase: “a turning toward each other” that resonates so deeply right now. This is how we truly live into and embrace a liberative vision for ourselves and our worlds.
