Last doctor I saw told me anything under 103.5 is just an elevated temp, not a fever. Motherfucker, I was a medic many moons ago but even back then, I recognized patients w/temps that high were almost always in sepsis. It’s not normal to let people get that sick, but we sure like to pretend it is.
