Just because records are already catalogued, I am spending a week off from work making a list of the books in my house. Living room done, bedroom and basement next.
Sharing this thread from yesterday as @negativlandland.bsky.social are providing some great details on their planned reissue series that's coming together. Shout out to @sidfudd.bsky.social, as credited in the thread, for the work being done! Can't wait! cc @steadystate.bsky.social

I've been digging into the just-launched Jeff Lazar Audio Collection — some killer tapes so far, including Tom Verlaine, Keiji Haino, Neil Young and beyond.

I just escaped from a real-life conversation where someone said, "The last great music act was Linkin Park. After them, music died."

The greatest photo ever taken. That key! And probably the greatest case of self-sabotage - from teen idol to inscrutably reclusive avant-garde noisenik - in popular music. #ScottWalker

Social media can make a song go viral — even push it up the pop charts — seemingly overnight. Perhaps it's not surprising that some influencers are being paid to promote music without disclosing it. n.pr/4ynw19K

Re: the World Cup. The level of the games is a bit lower than we see in national leagues and international tournaments in Europe. The talent is too diluted with 48 teams playing. However, most of the games are entertaining, people are having a good time and that's the only thing that matters.

I thought it'd be a swell idea to create a starter pack of journalists who specialise in throwing light on the dark(er) side of football. It's small for two reasons: there aren't many of us; and I've probably forgotten plenty of excellent people. Thank you for suggesting additions in replies.
