...a few years ago we did some Zippy content and were contacted by Tom Hayes, regular listener of the pod and son of Geoffrey. He informed us that Zippy and George were happily living out their retirement with Tom's mum following the passing of his dad in 2018... 2/3

Its the last day tomorrow for the kids then its the 6 weeks break. Last year in primary school for the younger one in September. Its year 9 at high school for the older one in September.

England did better than I thought they would getting to the semi finals. People need to drink a glass of realism, better teams than England went out before this stage and France at the same stage. The squad, with a bit of good fortune, over achieved.
