Absolutely thrilled to welcome Nick Morley, aka Linocutboy to FOR THE LOVE OF PRINT on 07 November in Faversham. Nick is an accomplished artist, illustrator, author, and educator who specialises in linocut.
One more step along with my Hedgehog linoprint. It took rather a long time to cut the William Morris-esque pattern around them. You might be interested to know that Mr Morris did not cut his own wood-blocks.

Life is dull if you're not working on four different print projects at the same time! Another I'm currently working on: Hedgehogs with echoes of William Morris. All will become clear, well clearer at least.
Oh it felt so good to get the Japanese Watercolours out and make an initial sketch for a new linoprint. I am so very lucky to have art, it really does bring me so much joy and purpose.
Broken is beautiful. Cyanotype Prints of a range of pottery and glass shards I've found whilst mudlarking on creeks off of the Medway and Swale. As always blown away by what is achievable with Cyanotype!

Have they gone?! Those beautiful screaming arrows in the sky, Swifts, they're no longer circling and swooping around my town. Their summer calls are absent once again. They must have gone on their way back to Africa. Let's hope they make it back safely here again next year. haggytea.etsy.com

It's me, in the studio with my linoprint inspired by the Fry Art Gallery and the Great Bardfield Artists including a Ravilious Wedgwood Persephone Mug and a Staffordshire Pottery Cat. I thought it would be a slightly different take on #internationalcatday.
