Haldbyrm Thegreat
@haldbyrm.bsky.social
Gposer, lore enthusiast, here to share my love for Arya from RDM questline and other characters! Enjoy your stay (21 yo, spoilers most likely, possible NSFW once in a red moon)
I have Shards for all the Rejoined ones, plus the 9th, the 13th and a bit of an update to Ardbert. I make way too many OCs, lol
lamb 🗡️@cherubiclamb.bsky.social · 20h ago#wolqotd do you have an OC for every Shard? are they Shards of one another? chart for reference
Lonely orphan boy who nobody likes wants to be a Hero because people like heroes. But he's about to find out... Being the hero is harder then it looks!
✨ N'taya 🌹@rosegoldnugget.bsky.social · 2d agoWhy is your WoL/OC Like This™ (aka "what is their backstory")? Bad summaries only! #wolqotd
Intentionally, but in a very "It has to be this way" vibe (MGR soundtrack starts) He felt little malice or pure murderous intent, just a very clear and final understanding that this fight only ends when one of them dies. There is no third way.
Sean Gardner@seangardnerxiv.bsky.social · 23h ago#wolqotd Did your WoL kill Zenos intentionally or unintentionally?
Haldbyrm honestly can vibe with anything. To him every song got something worth absorbing as part of world's culture. But having to pick something to put on, he'll probably pick something like this www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZno...
Aviators - Traveler's Song (Fantasy Rock)

Solaire Stark, Professional Bisexual Disaster@snowbound-stark.bsky.social · 3w agoFuck it, goofy question time #wolqotd If your OC(s)/WoL(s) were on a cross country road trip of some kind, be it by car, hiking, motorcycle, bus, etc What would be their #1 song to belt out on the top of their lungs when it comes on during the trip?
#FF14 #GPOSERS #Highlander #WukLamat #Deltarune Relic grind and frends showing me Deltarune has inspired me "Trials of the Holy Hammer"
Fun fact: in Slavic languages Visna means "Spring", like the season.
FINAL FANTASY XIV@en.finalfantasyxiv.com · 3w agoIntroducing Visna, a runesmith of Naglfar voiced by Holly Earl!
Ready for the cold but being stylish. AND having a bit of skin showing. Because why not. #Moonqote
Arc@aerheart.bsky.social · 3w ago#wolqotd EVERYONE! Show me your WoL wearing the latest product from Tataru Taru's Boutique's Winter Collection!!
Haldbyrm states his threats as pure facts: "If you keep doing that — you'll get hurt". He says it like it's just a natural law of the world, and is surprisingly calm, but he absolutely would follow through on that.
✦ SuzuLuna 🐰💜@xsuzulunax.bsky.social · 3w agoA #wolqotd today I have. What would your OCs/WoLs do to make a point to NOT harass their friends? Do they threaten them or do they throw hands?
He trusts and makes friends very quickly, but that doesn't mean he stops being careful. Even his sworn brother Thancred, the man Hald trusts with his life, was once mind controlled into attacking him, so even when he trusts you, Haldbyrm is always on guard, except if your name is Arya.
Ikumi Yamoshi 📚WOLQOTD Enthusiast📚@moon-petals.bsky.social · 3w ago#wolqotd / #wolquestion How quickly can someone earn your wol / oc’s trust and or mistrust?
He did not want Yugiri to die. Hald was absolutely not sure he could take Zenos down, but he also couldn't stop Yugiri from going. He wouldn't have forgiven himself if he wasn't there for her.
laughing skeleton@laughingskeleton.bsky.social · 3w ago#wolqotd when your wol goes with yugiri to fight zenos in yanxia, what was their reasoning for it?
Haldbyrm actually does know magic for cleaning his clothes, especially of blood, but he's not the best at it. So while he's usually clean and smells nice, there's like a few stains on them that still presist.
Foxceles@foxceles.bsky.social · 3w ago#ffxiv #wolqotd How is laundry done? Do you use magicks, or do you hand it over to laundresses whom are masters of removing morbol gunk from intricate armour? Is their a Laundress job stone? How does your wol deal with it?
He absolutely prefers hot places to cold ones any day of the week. But if needed, he can wether the cold pretty okay, it takes a while for him to start freezing up.
Rika@rikaxiv.bsky.social · 3w ago#wolquestion #wolqotd How does your wol(oc) feel about the cold?
Packing and unpacking and packing again all of his supply bags. Haldbyrm carries potions, weapons, bombs and other useful tools in special bags, and when it's the day before a big battle he gets extremely careful about not forgetting something he may need or what can save his life
Kara + 14 OCs in a Trenchcoat@karadazkar.bsky.social · 4w ago#wolqotd maybe? Does your OC have any habits or rituals that they do during or before stressful moments (e.g. the night before a big battle)? Not necessarily superstitions, but something that helps them stay calm, or get themselves psyched up, or helps them focus, stuff like that.
Haldbyrm doesn't know how the tech works, but what he does know is how to get information from people. The S9 residents use these all the time, and by watching them he could figure out if there are any side effects and whatnot. He isn't afraid of new things, just cautions, and it seems safe enough.
Morgaine@morgainexiv.bsky.social · 4w ago#WoLQotD How does your WoL/OC feel about the teleporters in Solution 9? Are they excited by the concept, weirded out by it, or do they see it as just similar to Aetheryte teleportation? Along with this question - do you think those teleporters feel any different from Aetheryte teleportation?
If the choice is only between those, probably the Minutemen, just for the sense of relative freedom of action. He doesn't particularly care for the history, he just wants to do his thing. If he can choose to be anything at all, he'll probably be Courier though, that's the most Haldbyrm thing.
Shisui Glam Enjoyer | Carbuncle Connsoisseur@st4rd1ver.bsky.social · 4w ago#wolqotd what Fallout faction would your wol/oc join? Brotherhood of Steel? The Enclave? Caesars Legion? The Minutemen? The Institute? New California Republic?
Angry. A lot. Still. He is naturally very forgiving, it's really hard to truly get on his bad side. But once it happens, Haldbyrm can be downright petty in how long he can hold a grudge. The twins may have forgiven dad, but 5 years down the line Hald would still remind 4chan that he dislikes him.
Meowdred Surana 🔆 7.56 spoilers@meowwwffxiv.bsky.social · last mo.#WoLQotD What did your WoL think of Fourchenault Leveilleur? Had that changed since the Final Days? What do they think of him now?
Selective. Haldbyrm doesn't have any formal education, but he has been an adventurer for so long he naturally picked up things from dealing with them. He more or less understands allagan tech and can disassemble a magitech engine. But Solution 9 tech is way beyond him
Meowdred Surana 🔆 7.56 spoilers@meowwwffxiv.bsky.social · last mo.#WoLQotD How tech-savvy is your WoL? We're talking Allagan nodes, Solution 9 computer systems, Garlean tech both computer-related and warmachina. Did they, in fact, know how to operate that weather shield on the ship heading to Tural?
"Ahhh.. Somewhere between 24 and 26? I don't fully remember" It's a truthful answer, as he's both really bad at keeping up with dates and we also don't know for sure when his birthday is, as he only celebratees him joining the Scions as such
SmallCat@sizeablecat.bsky.social · last mo.#wolqotd When asked their age, how does your WoL/OC respond? Truthfully? Dodge the question? Lie? Have they been 26 for the last 9 years?
Do you guys fw monster Orpheus… (From an RP I did with @haldbyrm.bsky.social about the last hours before the Sundering, and the drastic measures taken during it)
So Manami and I are strapped for cash at the moment, so would anyone be interested in gpose commissions from me? They’re not the most complex, but I’ll gladly do modifications for free if they want something changed. Thinking maybe $10-15 as a baseline, with options for extras.
Arya looks really good with the new hair.............
Heracles (Haldbyrm's Ancient) and Melinoё are extremely soul compatible. That means that while they are not Pre-Destined to meet, if they ever do, they are very likely to fall in love. Funny enough though, in the Ancient times they never crossed paths, so those images below are non-canon, heh.
