I picked up Resident Evil 2 last night, and instantaneously it threw more zombies at me on the first screen than Resident Evil 1 threw at me the entire game. 10/10, I love it so far.

Remember after freeing them from Vauthry, Alphinaud immediately lambasted the Eulmorans for their treatment of the disenfranchised without pulling any punches, and the message landed because he (and by proxy, the game) took an uncompromising moral stance on the matter? I think about that a lot.

The obvious reason some people are hoping that the woman in 7.56 is Ysayle herself and not her Fourth shard, unlikely as that is, is that Ysayle’s death was narratively unnecessary and has done so little to impact the story going forward, that it might as well not have happened.
