I stopped talking about my illness and now everyone thinks I’m cured.
Kinda annoys me how much the homeschool form preaches about effective instruction while the in school system lowers targets. “Homeschooled kids don’t get diplomas” the form said. Okay well are the in school kids qualified for theirs? Get off my ass. God.
I wonder if NB Power employees get tired of coming to the same spot like we get tired of losing power over and over and over and over and over and over and ….
British Columbia has approved OTC hearing aids and I need NB to do the same thing like yesterday. I would love to be able to hear again.
#Asthma and #COPD are leading causes of hospitalization in #NewBrunswick. NB Lung provides free replacement valved holding chambers (spacers) to New Brunswickers in need. Visit our website or our office in Fredericton to get yours. https://tinyurl.com/mr23ez6s
Super interesting that NB withheld information about that chemical spill on the highway for like a day. Seems like keeping potentially important health information to themselves is a GNB thing.
I can’t make “ban social media” and “shove AI down the kids throats” make sense in my head. To me these are opposing view points. Sorry kids, you can’t chat with your friends after school but your chat bot buddy is available. I honestly don’t think our government knows whether it’s coming or going.
People like Kane and many many others that do care about human art and the creative process have been a beacon of hope while trying to navigate making art in this current climate.
N had a swim clinic this morning. I’m still a Stan Cassidy fan girl but now we’re chalmers foundation fan girls too. They provide the swim equipment for free. We got to bring home a new life jacket that will allow N to be completely independent in the water. So fun. So inaccessible otherwise.
Some recent ceramic projects. My mom painted the snowman but I crocheted him a tiny scarf.
Yesterday; yay AI! Anyone who doesn’t want to embrace AI is a cave man loser! Today: hey so literacy scores super suck. Guess what’s not going to fix literacy scores.
The new curriculum includes AI. Susans on the radio not mentioning it. And they’re not talking about it on the fb site. Kindergarteners are going to be using AI to learn and they’re fine with that. Next week after an uproar she’ll pretend she had no idea what her ministers were doing.
Can I put the rest of my plants in the ground now? Is it safe? This cold is killing me, and my plants. Mostly my plants.
I hope this never ends. Plane spotting from the porch is 10/10. Last nights 737 attempted to land and diverted back to Toronto. Hopefully tonight’s lands a little easier.
The airport is using the runway that sends planes over my house at like 700ft this weekend. It’s been an exciting time for the plane nerds who live here.
Does anyone want to come to a meeting with me and lobby for the removal of backyard chicken bans? I for one need the eggs to start coming from my backyard and at minimal cost.
Starting ceramics has done so much good for my nervous system. My nightmares are so much less frequent when I attend regularly. I had to be away for a couple of weeks in April and they came back full force. Wild.

Heart failure rising among younger Canadians, data shows. This cardiologist explains why - Heart failure is one of the fastest-growing cardiovascular diseases in Canada, and it is now manifesting at earlier ages.
Lots you can do about it actually. Cruises remain optional!
‘Not much you can do about it’: What happens to cruise passengers caught in a disease outbreak
The RCMP is flying fucking drones through the night in Oromocto. This is supposedly an anti theft measure because over the last two days there has been a large number of cars broken into. This turns my stomach. I hate drones. I hate drones run by cops even more.
This is so fascinating because everyone has been so so so sick in the last month or so. It got us and it took literal weeks to clear the boogers. It wasn’t covid, either flu, rsv or adenovirus. We tested serially for all. Is whatever it is competing with covid and (kind of sort of) crushing it?
I hope he had to read my tweets once on the internet and once again in his secret program.
Higgs government tracked New Brunswickers' movements, "discontent" during pandemic, RCMP documents reveal: www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
So listen. We have this data. Showing hospital admissions for ‘resp’ infections 2x pre-pandemic. But ALL school absence discussions - see CBC! See the National last night! IGNORE growing illness as biggest absence factor (or ANY factor!). This is horrible reporting/journalism. /1
Hospital admissions for "respiratory" infections have more than doubled in Canada vs. pre-pandemic levels - with Covid driving ~40% of cases. ~57,700 admissions in 2024 alone www.theglobeandmail.com/gift/6f8ae90...
Linking attendance to grades when you willfully make them sick and don’t do ANYTHING to make life easier for them is fucking cruel. Read that on the radio. Turned the radio off to avoid this shit last night and here it is waiting for me on infoam. No attendance convos until the air is clean.

All I do is take medicine that makes me sleepy. Beta blockers. Huge doses of antihistamines. SSRIs. It’s a miracle I’m awake ever. is it nap time yet? Anyway, Here’s a photo of my dog being a good boy.
