~Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded~ #Hallowfallgames Another cinematic watch, about 3 hours long. Felt a lot like a reminder of earlier events and connections put together in a way to make it into it's own game. But there was a couple little nuggets in there, like the Book of Prophecies and Sora's 'memories'.
~Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep~ #Hallowfallgames This was so interesting! Getting to play through each of their stories and having it explore their thoughts and path through these events. I loved seeing all the Organisation XIII characters from before they become nobodies as well.
Kirbs and I got the house all sorted yesterday but I still feel like there is so much to get organised today so we are all set and ready for PAXAus. I need to make myself a mini quest list so my head can keep up with it all and not miss anything.
~Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Final Mix~ #Hallowfallgames Holy shit. I didn't expect it to still hit so hard yet once more I was left by the end of the game absolutely sobbing once the music started, all in the feels again. Proudly can say I made Ultima though! Love the storyline and connection between them.
Life Checkin: I just gotta make it through 1 more day of work then I get a week off. I've gotten everything all organised to keep it running smooth. Past that, got a smoke alarm inspection we gotta tidy up for, PAXAus, then gotta brave the injections in my knee....not looking forward to them.
~Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker ~ #HallowfallMetalGear #Spoilers In this one we went through our beloved Naked Snake coming to terms with the loss of Boss (rest in peace) as he begins to forge his path to Big Boss! The date scene was weird though...
~Weapons~ #HallowfallShows I really love the way the story was told through seeing what each of the characters were up to over the same timeline. And the subtle notes of the passage of time too such as Alex's ability to feed others soup. My fave part though was James refusing to stay down.
~The Conjuring: Last Rites~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse This is it. We finished the Conjurverse with this one. It had all the good subtle and in your face spooks, some great ones even. Though something felt just a little odd in the pacing of the family's story.
Got woken up at 3:30am with a tummy ache, couldn't mentally switch off to go back to sleep. Its now 5:40am and I need to get ready for work. I feel soooo not okay. Help.
~Midnight Mass~ #HallowfallShows OMG THIS SERIES. I WATCHED IT ALL THIS WEEKEND AND OMG I LOVED IT. The way the story was told, the story itself, URGH YESSS. The way the second last episode ended in the church with the townspeople and the 'angel'. Spooks without getting too spooky, but bloody.
~The Conjuring: Devil Made Me Do It~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse So far this has now taken my top spot. Once again loved but was so creeped out by the real tape recording at the end. But also loved how this took a different path to the other conjurings while still feeling a part of it all.
~Clinical~ #HallowfallShows So please check trigger warnings before watching this just in case as it hit some things pretty hard. Was an okay watch for me, enjoyed the way it came together in the end.
~The Conjuring 2~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse Back to the mainline movies now for the end. This was gooood. I love that while we have Valak, we are still getting other spooks in it such as The Crooked Man. The painting scene was great too!! But the real tapes in the credits... fuck...
