📣 𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸𝘀! 𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽! Someone stole our brand-new signs from Route 1 in Gouldsboro. So, how about helping us get the message out anyway? 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲! That way, a whole lot more people will see our message here than would have seen it driving by on Route 1. 😉 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲! 💙

What a way to kick off our first town hall in Lewiston. 🔥 Thank you to everyone who showed up with great energy and even better questions. This is what our campaign is about: showing up, listening, and fighting for working Mainers. Now is our time.

Last night, I held my first town hall of this month-old campaign — already one more than Susan Collins has held in the last 25 years. I invited Susan to join me. I even saved her a seat. She didn’t show up. Shocker.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 27, 2026 TROY JACKSON CALLS FOR TOWN HALL DEBATES AND INVITES SUSAN COLLINS TO THREE TOWN HALLS NEXT WEEK Jackson: “Mainers deserve the chance to question both of us directly.” #Maine #MEPolitics 🧵/1

PORTLAND, ME — One month after becoming the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate Troy Jackson today called for Susan Collins to participate in four televised debates, including two town hall-style debates where Maine voters can directly question both candidates. 🧵/2

Jackson is also inviting Collins to join him at three public town halls in Maine next week — giving her an immediate opportunity to take questions directly from Mainers at what would be her first public town hall in twenty five years. 🧵/3

Since becoming the nominee, Jackson has barnstormed the state, meeting with Mainers at community events and campaign stops from Lisbon Falls and Portland to Augusta, Winslow, Belfast, Brunswick and York with a series of public town halls beginning next week in Lewiston and Gorham. 🧵/4

Jackson said Mainers deserve the same opportunity to directly question both candidates for Senate. “Susan Collins hasn’t held a public town hall in 25 years. If she wants to debate, great — I’m looking forward to it,” said Jackson. “But Mainers deserve more 🧵/5

than politicians talking past each other in a television studio. They deserve the chance to look us both in the eye, ask us the questions that matter to their families, and hear our answers directly. 6/🧵

I’m holding three town halls next week, and Senator Collins is welcome at every one of them. I’ll proudly defend my record on that stage, and Susan Collins should be willing to do the same.” End/🧵
