Good morning! Today is the day we keep a single mom and her two young boys housed! We need $1,495 by TONIGHT to avoid eviction. This wonderful woman has been battling unemployment for eight months, applying for hundreds of jobs while doing any side gig she can find to keep her afloat.

When you have a job, you have the money to take a vacation but not the vacation time. When you don't have a job, you have the time to take the vacation but not the money. It kinda sucks.

Applying for and keeping unemployment benefits in the US is the most dehumanizing process I've ever experienced.
Still a ways to go (who wants to limit where a doctor can park when they have to get to an emergency case?), but this is still VERY good news.

On one side of my IG feed, I see people condemning anyone who attended the Met Gala or liked seeing the styles. On the other side of my IG feed, I see a musician unapologetically using AI to make a pic of herself in a Met Gala costume.
It would be a shame if people started doing this for real. Definitely not something I hope happens.

I know someone has to lose in figure skating, but I always feel so bad for the skaters when they see their low score. 😭
