Today I saw someone ask about what prison abolition would look like in practice. I am no expert, but this thread is what I have learned over the last several years. Happy to hear feedback/correction from those who have studied much more than me.

Alarm clock suggestions for hard sleepers/teens who have a hard time getting up/ADHD folks whose brains are working against them getting up?
Educators, tell me the subtle ways you are communicating safety to marginalized students and other faculty/staff in states where you can't hang big message posters, etc. I'm thinking buttons on bags, bracelets in certain colors or with words on them, keychains, etc. Anything at all!
When we left my mom's classroom at 8 pm Friday, there were multiple other cars still in the parking lot. If you have the resources to send an educator friend a few dollars to pick up a meal in the next few days, I can guarantee it would be appreciated!

A partial win today! The vote on cutting polling locations has been tabled until the September 1st meeting. Keep speaking up Tarrant County! Figure out who your commissioner is and email them, call them, ask for a meeting.

Past attendees say they have never seen it this full. The courtroom and overflow room are full. The second overflow room is more than halfway full. Proud of us.
