having a nice time

I'm having gender crises today. First, Linus told me that boys can't do ballet, even after I showed him a video of it (he was pranking me at that point). Then, Thea tried to climb up a couch cushion, but her dress got in the way so she gave up. I need to trans all my kids a few times to fix this

If you are a man with a profession that puts you anywhere in the public eye or in a position of authority over anyone, and you have a baby, i firmly believe it is your duty to take paternity leave. Be a good example.

in the Québécois version of King of the Hill (“Henri pis sa gang”), Boomhauer is named Papineau and sounds like this

It's ok that I'm not getting stuff done, I'm pregnant--> It's ok that I'm not getting stuff done, I have an infant --> It's ok that I'm not getting stuff done, I'm a full time working mom --> It's ok that I'm not getting stuff done, it's the start of summer and I deserve a break --> It's ok that I'm

I really really don't feel like cleaning the kids' room. But it's not the kind of cleaning I can make them do. It needs decluttering and organizing. Maybe I'll just see how long they can survive in that mess

I don't want to overschedule my family and I have a limited budget for extracurriculars, but also I do want the boys to have piano lessons, and they've asked for sports, and we're sticking with cub scouts, and we want to do swim lessons for safety. That's so many things already.

Safety tip: don't put your child's name on their backpack so that a potential predator can't use their name to get close to them. Also, don't say their name out loud in public. Use a fake name. Get all your friends and family to use that name. Then get the fake name embroidered on the backpack

I've never really had strong feelings one way or the other about the green brothers, but for some reason I can't get the hank green AI scandal out of my head. What on earth was he thinking

Linus and his friends are playing family, and they're up to 8 babies. The responsibility is starting to get to him. "Mom, I think we're having too many babies. What if they all need something at once??"

Just heard what sounded like a wounded animal in my children's room. Got out of the shower, wrapped myself in a towel, and went to investigate. Didn't see anything, but the noise was louder and more eerie. "Hello?" And from behind the door pops a neighbor kid, playing hide and seek

Man goes to see the Cyclops. Says he's depressed. He wants to get back to his wife and home, but he keeps running into fatal predicaments along the way. Cyclops says, "Prognosis is simple. Nobody can help you." Man starts crying. Says, "But Cyclops, I *am* Nobody"

I'm so mad at google. I wanted to check if anyone had made a joke i was thinking of, so I googled it. Google AI tells me that it's a very popular online meme, making me feel like a dummy. Then I start looking through the links, and they don't contain the joke. I am, in fact, original and hilarious

I tricked my autistic son into wanting me to read Little House to him. We've done Big Woods and Prairie before, but he lost interest and doesn't really remember them anymore. So I just casually put the whole series on a prominent shelf. All 8* in a row. Now it's a list. Now he's all in.

I wonder if I know an unusual amount about sesame street or if the average American also just has a lot of fun sesame street facts in their back pocket. It seems like they should. It's the patriotic thing to do.
