Trump 2 has shown that the bulk of federal, state, and local "law enforcement" don't perform any useful functions at all. If they did, it would not be so easy to re-task them to brainless gestapo work like rounding up whole neighborhoods and waiting outside public buildings.

I wrote about how immigration arrests are at all-time highs, even as ICE is trying to assume a lower public profile. How are they doing this? Look to your local police.

these are bribes and theyre illegal and when people are like “what do you want the dems to do,” i just want them to say what i just said and promise to investigate as a crime when theyre in power, disincentivizing businesses from participating in this farce

drunk girl trying to tell her friends that she thinks they are “weekend at Bernie’s” with McConnell, but she has got completely the wrong movie and keeps calling it “doing a Fish Called Wanda” with him and I’m dying

Their plan is to say as little as possible and win by default, which in their mind is the safest path that doesn't alienate anyone. This misses the opportunity to galvanize the public around important issues, and then they throw up their hands about how the voters are ignorant and apathetic

I do find it amazing that even in this moment, the Dems can't come up with some sort of "Contract for America" like language that offers an alternative to Trump. Maybe they have it, but whatever governing vision they have is lost in the noise.

I was pulling photos from Getty Images today and this one took my breath away for a second. "Plain clothed federal agents pursue a man through the lobby of the Hennepin County Government Center before tackling and arresting him Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in Minneapolis, Minn."

Residential electricity prices are soaring in Ohio after the state spend more than $1.6 billion on subsidies for data center construction. It’s become a hub for the power-thirsty industry but now a major issue in the Senate and governor races…

NEW from me: Ohio Democrats are seizing on ratepayers’ frustration over data centers and rising electricity bills as they look to flip the governorship and a key Senate seat. GIFT LINK: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
