The bill is a bit too long and the side panels are not quite the right shape but for the first one this is good enough, but the fit is spot on. Lots of mistakes were made and I learned a lot. This is canvas and will be waxed but the next one will be herringbone wool.
Possible small @hardhat.rocks idea: running wigle to scan for smart glasses, with an LED or display to show when one is detected. Might see if I can add that to mine somehow. I’d like to think it wouldn’t be an issue at Defcon, but I’m not that hopeful.

G hooks arrived and the shoulder strap pouch is done. Ended up tacking the corners of the floating liner.

Hey @hardhat.rocks. Have any of you seen a hard hat with an external power source (ex having a battery in a backpack) or something similar? I have a far too ambitious idea which would need more power than my hat could hold, but don’t know the feasibility of long wires.
