I wish I could have had achievements in my game, because there's one secret in the game you can only find by changing the code of the game (as a small easter egg from another game), and I do wonder if someone found it yet 😅

Thank you to everyone who shared my previous post. It means a lot to see as many people responding to the post! It can feel discouraging sharing your art online sometimes, but I'm always so grateful when a post is doing well!

I saw a post where someone said that my game was pretentious, but in a good way. And it couldn't make me happier. Most of the art that inspires me are often called pretentious, so when I see people describing about my game as pretentious or artsy, I feel like I've done a good job! #gamedev

I just noticed that there's officially 500 people that have The Dreams in the Peacock House in their Steam library. I remember when I released the game 3 months ago, I thought that only a handful of people would buy it. I'm really happy to realise I was wrong about that! #gamedev

I decided to finally add the No Gen AI seal to the steam page of my game. With some discourse I've seen lately about "well, everyone uses AI now", I feel like it's important to show that there are still a lot of devs and artists that don't use it!

The mods of the gamedev subreddit making a post (which is most likely written by AI) to say that AI generated posts are not low effort and are tolerated is quite funny. Gen AI will always be low effort. It's not like any other "tool", like they claim it is. Time to move on from that place, I guess

Just found out that there's some torrents of my game out there, that got uploaded a few days ago. And honestly, I'm kind of surprised about it, since it's still a pretty obscure and niche game. But I'm fine with it and hopefully some of these people will like it enough to buy it!

I often get comments on a few of my games similar to "I don't know what I played or what happened, but I liked it". I always love comments like these, since a lot of games/movies/books I love don't always make sense and focus more on atmosphere and feelings rather than having a cohesive story.
