Harley & Ivy: Life & Crimes #6 lettered cover by @ericafails.bsky.social It saddens me that such a great story gets cut short like this. Erica Henderson was doing such a wonderful job writing the origins of the Harlivy romance that it deserved to be extended and get the full 12-issues treatment.

But that the thing! It doesn't come out of that place at all, it's clear that Wilson wanted to separate them no matter what, it doesn't make sense with how Ivy started the book seeking redemption in the letters. Ivy would not be ashamed of Harley at all. Wilson doesn't respect Harley's character.
Lady Emily ☄️@ladyemily.nebula.tv · 5mo agoMy hot take is that I’m fine with Harley and Ivy breaking up if it makes sense and isn’t for contrived reasons and comes from a clear place of respect for each character and the writer understanding that despite the toxicity and messiness of the two, they both love each other deeply
@gwillow.me So this was a lie. It's clear that by how your mischaracterize Poison Ivy that either you or editorial doesn't care about her relationship with Harley Quinn at all and that Elliott Kalan lied about it. This isn't the greatest writing that you think it is, it's far contrary of that

@gwillow.me I don't believe you, your burned off any goodwill you had. What happened to Harley and Ivy in this issue is a culmination of everything you have built your run so far. It's what you wanted, and now you can't stand the criticism.
@gwillow.me I know you don't care, and why would you? Editorial doesn't care either! So you get to free reign to do as you please. You don't care if the story make sense or if the character are written to standards, or maybe standards has fallen so low that stuff like this is acceptable.
