I must confess that before the World Cup, I did not even know where Cabo Verde was on the map, except that I knew it was off the coast of Africa. It may have lost to Argentina, but it won many hearts with its soccer and resilience.
Although Priyanga was fired, the story very much continues for her as she is struggling to make ends meet without a job or prospects. She recently sold her home to move into a small apartment in LA. She made some mistakes...but the punishment so far exceeds the "crime" (see: gender and race)
