Is failing to act on climate change moderate policy? Is praying your kids return safely from school the life moderates want? Is feeding your family crap because it's affordable the way of moderation? Is continuing to accept unacceptable health care in exchange for more bombs for war moderate?
Elizabeth Spiers@espiers.bsky.social · 2d agoI keep arguing that Dem leadership (Schumer, Jeffries, etc.) are stuck in the 90s, as are many of the high profile Dem consultants and advisors. They think most voters are de facto moderate. This is why their thinking is outdated:
The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to protect the only true minority - the individual. It limits the governments power to harm the individual. The whole constitution is designed to limit the governments power.
