It's called ethical romantasy, T. It's when the fantasical romance is a sedative.

Ethical art is art that treats everyone involved in the process (from materials to production to creative labor) fairly and with respect—not art that adheres to a specific set of content guidelines. Don't confuse genre trappings or marketing buzzwords with the real obligations we have to each other.

We've put out a plea for SHASTA before, but this guy really needs a home. An oversized senior gentleman, Shasta loves children and just needs a quiet couch to hang out. This 8yo lost his bonded brother and home at the same time, and hasn't really recovered. Someone please love him! #Tucson (23/45)

This is a very thorough statement and I support the artists collective. I truly hope there can be a positive resolution. I want there to be a thriving space for interesting, political, and queer comics, but that also needs to come with fair treatment to the artists who make those books.
