This note should be familiar to fans of Azumanga Daioh: the trip to Okinawa and how, at the time, the note was brand new, so the girls were all in awe at its watermarks and stuff I guess that joke could still be made to this day, huh?

An older worker had to intervene. It's legal currency, but rare enough now that many young Japanese don't recognize it.
