No, giving Google permission for smart features does not imply you are giving them permission to use Gmail and Google docs etc for AI training. Google should clarify but that interpretation is opposed to GDPR regulations and contradicts what Google writes in their privacy policy page.

Clarification that Gemini uses your content to generate responses to prompts but the content is not used to train the models themselves, and so does not exit your account.

"Gemini doesn't use your content to train or improve Gemini or other generative AI models."Specification on what *does* grant Google permission to train models - usage of Gemini screen actions submits that screenshot to Gemini.

No people, don't fall for it Tucker Carlson did not slam the Trump regime for restricting freedom of speech. He said Pam Bondi shouldn't have talked about hate speech, defended her for misspeaking, then slammed democrats for wanting to revoke the first amendment.

There's no sentence that Charlie Kirk would have objected to more than that. And you've got to think the attorney
general didn't think it through and was not attempting to desecrate the memory of the person she was purporting to celebrate. That she just threw that out
there. That she hadn't thought about it. You hope that. You hope that Charlie Kirk's death won't be used by a group we now call bad actors to create a society that was the opposite of the one he
worked to build. You hope that you hope that a year from now the turmoil we're seeing in the aftermath of his murder won't be leveraged to bring hate speech laws to
this country. And trust me, if it is, if that does happen, there is never a more
justified moment for civil disobedience than that ever. And there never will be. Because if they can tell you what to
say, they're telling you what to think. There is nothing they can't do to you because they don't consider you human.

I will not give into Doomerism. Fuck that shit. That’s just collaboration under the shroud of doing something. They want you to spiral and feel like a ghost. That’s how they win. Don’t let the fuckers win.

THE WHITE DRAGON (1978) Acrylic on Masonite - 20" X 30" Although this is the third book in the series, it was my first Pern cover and I was determined to create the dragons as faithfully to Anne McCaffrey's description as possible. 1/5

Ruth, a pearl white dragon with green eyes, poses regally with wings spread against a cliff face. Her rider Jaxom rears back, saddle-mounted just above her wings. A foreclaw grips rock as the other releases, flexing like fingers. Ruth's tail, marked with a parallel ridges of short spikes and ending in a spade-shaped tip, curls forward around her back leg. A tiny dragon grasps Jaxom's finger, perching like a bird. Across the misty valley, a group of dragons take flight, soaring past the Red Star which hangs in deep blue sky like a bloody moon just above the jagged spine of mountains.

Rough translations of some bits that I found interesting from the Shoshimin Twitter Space, where Teppei Uenishi (Urino's VA) and Kazuki Endou (producer at TV Asahi) shared insights into the anime. (I missed the beginning, so only info from the later parts are included)

Oh god I just realised NO ONE has understood the true importance of the cucumbers in Ave Mujica 7. They imply Soyo saved Mutsumi's cucumber plant. They are weird shapes because they are hand grown but Soyo didn't have time to grow them from scratch.

Watched the Loftmoon fansubs to Ave Mujica. I think generally the quality is good (obviously better than the official release), but I think something that is maybe a sign of inexperience is that the subs are kinda overwritten.
