Guess what I just got by email: Mike Rogers warned me that Abdul El-Sayed is a "radical communist". I'm not kidding. And Trump's first rant on Truth Social touted the same language. Here we go 🙄😡

Re: this business of “electability”, remember this: in 2024, “(Mike)Rogers had a slight edge over (Elissa) Slotkin walked away with 48.6% of the votes and Rogers with 48.3% (AP).” Vote for the candidate you know will represent you and your needs. Forget about “electability”.

Note to media: get Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s name right. “El-Sayed is pronounced as el-sah-YED (or /ɛl sɑːˈjɛd/). The first part sounds like "el," and the second part splits into "sah" like the start of "father" and "yed" like the word "bed" with a "y" sound in front. And P.S: Dr. not Mr.

Abdul El-Sayed is the likely Democratic nominee. Republicans throwing millions on attack ads. Just remember: this election is about AFFORDABILITY, which is what all Democrats (progressive and establishment) are running on. Democrats must unite to win against Mike Rogers and win the house!

I have been called an alarmist and worse by well meaning people who want to think it will just all be ok. The truth is it doesn't always end up ok and we can't pretend it will. Donald Trump is targeting Black voters and women to rig this election. We need to stand up, call it out and take action.

And a lest we forget Justice Kavanaugh writes separately because while he agrees with the judgment in this case that Trump cannot change birthright citizenship by EO, he believes that Congress can by statute create exceptions to birthright citizenship that would mirror the provisions of Trump’s EO.

Watching the grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center. THIS makes me proud to be an American. That enough of us were smart enough to make this man our president, and that he and his life partner saw the opportunity to make the Obama Presidential Center more than just a library about him. 🇺🇸

The defeat of Hungarian oligarch, Viktor Orban is a wake-up call for the American people. Over 70% of Hungarians voted against corruption and for democracy. Trump is emulating Orban’s corrupt government. Remember it in November!!

Pope Leo's statement is more than a plea for peace, it is a call to action. It should not go un-noticed that he spoke in English when he urged all people to “….contact authorities, political leaders, congressmen…..”

Two week cease fire is a good thing—he TACO’d. But he still threatened genocide. The military higher-ups should arrest him for at least, hate speech/at most, incitement to commit genocide.
