Similarly, thereâve been countless scores of articles the last few years that discuss health issues that can arise due to COVID infections (cardiovascular & neurological issues, cancer, shingles, etc., etc.)âthat leave out the word âCOVID.â They donât want people to know.
An entire article about the ways #ClimateChange is decimating the Bourdeux wine region of France â that never mentions the words âclimate change.â This is journalistic malpractice. Not even high-school papers leave out such necessary context. #EndClimateSilence www.nytimes.com/2026/07/28/w...

These findings suggest that small family events were a measurable transmission pathway to seniors, indicating that these socially important events were prioritized despite an ongoing pandemic; targeted risk-mitigation might be a tool to reduce spill overs in future pandemics. 3/3
No science fiction could have prepared us for just how stupid the end of the world can be. "The environment was on the brink of collapse, and so, rather than deal with that, we burned what fuel we had left getting computers to scam each other for money."
The greatest asset on Earth isn't oil, gold, or diamondsâit's clean, drinkable water.

Airborne microplastics have an unexpected role in climate warming
We already knew microplastics were turning up in our food, our water, even the air we breathe. Now thereâs a twist nobody saw coming: these tiny plastic fragments floating overhead are actually helping warm the planet. Colored microplastic particles absorb sunlight and trap heat, making a measurable contribution to global warming. The research was led by Drew Shindell, a professor of Earth science at Duke Universityâs Nicholas School of the Environment, working with a team from Fudan University in China. Plastic gets airborne once bigger debris breaks down small enough for wind and sea spray to carry it up into the atmosphere. Aerosols just got a new member Scientists have known for a long time that floating particles, aerosols, can mess with the climate. Soot is the textbook case. Itâs packed with black carbon, one of the most powerful warming agents we know of. Microplastics simply werenât part of that conversation before this study came along. âThis research expands the family of aerosols that are actually causing warming, and that makes [microplastics] a particularly good targetâ for climate action, Shindell said. Color plays a role Earlier climate models treated airborne microplastics as essentially colorless. Colorless particles tend to reflect sunlight...
