Poliisi keräsi Jyväskylässä henkilötiedot Elokapinan mielenosoitukseen osallistuneilta. Toivottavasti tätä samaa oikeutta käytetään myös äärioikeiston tulevissa mielenosoituksissa, jotta Tampereeella tapahtuneen kaltaiset pahoinpitelyt ja muut rikokset voidaan selvittää.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

I and many of my friends stream on Twitch. I say, *absolutely the fuck not*. Friends who stream on Twitch, there is a comment thread here where you can make your voices heard: twitch.uservoice.com/forums/92338... This is the *least* they can do.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I’m a week late but now that the horrors of coming home are beaten, some thoughts on Närcon: All things considered I had a great time and I already miss the fun atmosphere, but Närcon is also very emblematic of everything wrong with conventions in general.
