When men refer to themselves as "alpha males", I hear that in the context of software, where alpha versions are unstable, missing important features, filled with flaws, and not fit for the public.

ChatGPT advocates, please understand: many times when people ask you a question, it is because they are valuing your experience and perspective. Essentially, you are part of their community. When you answer with a ChatGPT screenshot, you are telling them that they are not a part of yours.

One of my favourite things on social media is when a man (yes, it's always a man) severely underestimates someone (usually a woman) and gets schooled accordingly. The comments are *chefs kiss* This is right up there withthe dude calling out Gail Simone, the Punisher writer.

1/This one's for my fellow #developers. Let's talk about Entity Framework; if you have the option to use Dotnet Core/EF for your business logic/data layers - including Postgres/MySQL on Linux - you really should take a hard look. EF + Linq gives you an amazing degree of control over your data.
