Oxfam bookshop find. I had no idea Robertson Davies had written a series of ghost stories. I lived in his Cornish Trilogy for a while in my 20s, so I'm eager to get stuck into these.

I may have come across as a reasonable person there, and though I have mellowed with age, there are still plenty of moments when I would pick up my bearded, double blade, francisca, or frankly any of my favourite axes and strike terror into the hearts of my enemies.
