Kuz is taking things pretty well so far. He was with Egypt for over 10 years so I was really worried for how he’d adjust to being alone. He’s a tad more clingy than usual and flock calling a bit more but he doesn’t seem upset.

It hurts me to have to make another post like this, but tonight I said goodbye to my sweet and often spicy girl, Egypt. She lived a long life, and spent the last few days cuddling with me and being serenaded by Kuz. She’s off to go have adventures with Celeste now.
I will never forget watching my parents huddle around our landline in NY, hoping and praying that all of our family members would call and say that they were okay. Truly one of the most horrifying moments in American history.
