Our local murder has trained me to throw peanuts so they can swoop down and snag them in midair. This morning I tossed a peanut into the yard, and the crow just looked at me. I threw the next one in a long arc near the crow's perch, and it gracefully jumped, swooped, and snagged it with its beak.
