Hey @0xc0de.bsky.social, I'm struggling to understand the mode 2 screen memory layout on the Electron. Wonder if I could ask an expert :) I've read about each byte being interleaved with 4 bits to give 2 pixels colour, but I'm a bit confused about the order of bytes in the screen itself?

Didn't know about this one, in 1975 before home computers took hold in the UK where Usborne would make those brilliant adventure and game listing books. This one would have translated well to that format if they revisited it (I haven't seen anything like it).

@retrogamermag.bsky.social loving the return of 'back to the eighties'. Even if you republished the same articles it's been such a long time since originally published I wouldn't know. But love the fresh new approach and the 'Other highlights of Feb 80' works really well. Martyn's doing a top job.
