Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

The problem with booking 'focus time' into a calendar is when you come out of that sweet, sweet focus time you are confronted by everyone shouting at you. Yeah, I know, not literally but it feels that way. Perhaps I should make a bot that goes "Hmmm interesting" and "Oh, huh!" in reply for me

New blog post - Speeding Up a Timebomb blog.tynemouthsoftware.co.uk/2026/08/time... Timebomb is a nice little VIC20 BASIC game, but the maze generation at the start was very slow, so I rewrote it in 6502 assembler. This one contains lots of hints and tips for VIC20 BASIC and 6502 assembler coding.
