Normally I wait for contract gaps to take vacations, but I have managed to line up work back-to-back for THREE years in a row (NOT A COMPLAINT I've been insanely lucky) and it's like oh right. Most normal salaried employees, like, take time off sometimes. So I'm off next week - we're going camping!

I think all drivers (who are physically able) should try cycling on roads at least once. I spent a few months cycling to work during the pandemic before we moved to Dartmouth and it changed how I drive. I never turn right without checking for cyclists in my right mirror now.

Same with checking your side mirrors before turning right. Same with not flooring it thru yellow lights. Cyclists find motorcycles riders deserve to make it home alive.
