Yesterday playing Big Walk I was enjoying it as a neat co-op game, today, after exploring more and the map opening up, I am loving it. There is nothing so far that is extremely challenging, but the way you work with the tools and limitations, it really becomes something special

it's weird seeing The Boys make modern, recent references. it worked fine when it was real life but super heroes are celebrities, but now in season 5 with everything that is going on, it's hard to believe that the same real world celebrities and games exist in the same context
what the hell do you mean Don Hertzfeldts entire collection is on Dropout now, what the hell

okay the new season of Crowd Control is a lot better. a lot more play with the crowd, a more fun energy, not trying too hard to be a game show
absolutely stunned that I got an A on my final paper in my composition class that was 1) a page shorter than required 2) pretty much a first draft 3) a lot of repetitive rambling hey I'll take it. that's this semester done. 3 weeks off baybeee
I hope a byproduct of ram and gpus becoming unobtainable is that big studios make more small games, like that brief period of time when Ubisoft was cool and released games like Grow Home and Child of Light
I don't agree with calling Wii/PS3/360 retro, not because I don't recognize the passage of time (believe me I am aware), but because it's like calling Linkin Park's Meteora classic rock. Old? Sure. But I think we need a separate delineation
finally started season 5 of da Boys and why does Kimiko sound like that
I really hope the Elden Ring movie is also obtuse with its story and you can only really understand what happens if you read the text blurb on the popcorn bucket
I like checking in on game dev communities because sometimes you will find the coolest shit you've ever seen

ah man rip Kavinsky. Hard to say if the modern synthwave movement would exist or be the same without Nightcall

why did I not stick with learning a game engine before. it is an immensely satisfying feeling to struggle with an exercise and finally break through and figure it out myself without help
oh no this is tempting
Sektori from @gimblll.com is an intense, fast paced twin-stick shooter infused with hard hitting techno. Focus up,for the quick runs have a lot of challenge and replay ability. Pre-order a Retail+ or EDITIONS version on Switch or PS5 and get the Sektori OST on CD www.lostincult.co.uk/shop/p/sektori
been doing a rewatch of The Boys before moving on to the final season. it really drowns in its so relevant topical references and need to be as gross and violent as possible, but is otherwise not as bad a watch as I was expecting. except for season 4 which remains miserable
Hey Odysseus, looks like you have a lot of trouble stringing your bow, and none of the other guys have even been able to get it on there. Have you considered just using a longer string? It would make it a lot easier.
Thunder Force IV mentioned, must post the best song ever recorded again

taking a biology class was more interesting than I expected, but sure doesn't stop the existential crises dude we're all just molecules reacting to other molecules that over billions of years made that process infinitely more complex than necessary. everything is energy conversion.
if this didn't have the name, nothing about this says Blade Runner. just a big shrug of a trailer

I haven't played it myself so maybe it's different in person, but anytime I see clips of the Shadow of the Colossus remake I get a bit disappointed. It just looks wrong. Too clean. Too nice looking.
