2/2 The close-ups of my wildfire embroidery. I tried to get a glowing effect with the fire and embers with colours I chose. I cut up my favourite cardigan for the rough charred ground as it was the only fabric I had with the right colour and texture but its not needed in this heat anyway...

One of the best pieces of advice that took me a long time to “get” is that you owe NO ONE your time and energy. It’s nice to be nice, & nice to be nice to people who like your work, or bought something from you, but if they make you uncomfortable you can just ignore them and should not feel guilty
Weird Friends art pop up was lowkey my favorite thing so far this year 💖 at the beginning of 2026, I made it a goal to place joy and whimsy at the top of my to-do list and focus on real life connections with people and today was ✅✅ on both fronts
