Regrettably been me for the past few months. Dunno if I'm capable of going back to being a nonchalant shitposter at this point, but we can always hope. Therapy and pills can do crazy things bro.

it's understandable to be a pessimist sometimes, but making apathy your whole thing is just exhausting to be around
Kinda hard to take the "AI will destroy humanity" scaremongering seriously when it still can't even get basic facts right.
Reminder that you are not going to be the target audience for everything and that's okay. Find something else to watch or play instead of getting mad at that.
A Christianity that is offended by someone advocating for the poor, the immigrant, the hungry, the sick, the marginalized, and the oppressed, is a Christianity that is offended by Jesus. Therefore, it is no longer Christianity.
I sadly feel like I'm going to get good use out of this.
I'm once again asking people on social media to please be normal about liking and disliking movies, shows, and games.
I’m not the first person to make this observation but the prevalence of nauseating ai-generated business logos means stuff like this hits CRAZY for me now
With the rise of AI I need to introduce people to "The Test". The test is a game where you search for restaurants and food branding that looks the most old or amateur you can find. Branding that looks like it's over 30 years old, low quality bad lighting jpgs of food or people, comic sans, etc.

Why is it every time I look up Bluey stuff on this site I get photos of grown men in diapers?

I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but it is okay to have hope and be excited for things.
Really, think about it. Harry Potter only got big thanks to the first three movies. With Rowling being a cunt, she pretty much alienated the people who made her shit popular in the first place. She can't recapture the "magic" that those Radcliffe-era movies had. It's near IMPOSSIBLE to do so.
I'm going by my hunch that it might do big numbers at first. I won't be surprised if people pirate it or hate-watch it. HOWEVER, this series doesn't have Daniel Radcliffe or Chris Columbus involved. Those two made Harry Potter big in the first place. Without those two, this series won't last long.
I for one won’t be watching and hope that JK is in for a rude awakening. It’s also pretty crazy to be this overly confident about rehashing your already adapted books with lesser known actors.
I do believe that audiences and especially "fans" have no idea what they really want, and I'm tired of them expecting creators and artists to constantly pander to their every whim.
Console war shit in 2026 is as exhausting as it is dumb. If you can't praise art and media you like without criticizing another, then that tells me you're more interested in stoking fights than in genuine criticism.
You are under no obligation to comment on or respond to toxic discourse, especially if it is something you're uncomfortable with or not that knowledgeable of. I do not go to social media to yell at random strangers.
"AAAAAH!!! DENNIS!" "...Did ya miss me?" 🧽 👑 🐟
People keep using terms like "shill" and "selling out", but have no idea what those words actually mean. Someone being genuinely excited for something is not a "shill". An indie studio selling merch to pay for everything is not them "selling out".

I suspect that we're beginning to see the signs of the AI bubble finally popping. It's why you're seeing these CEOs and shills saying shit like "slow down development" and "AI will destroy the world". They're desperate for investors to keep giving them money.
Karis took one last look at her beloved kingdom, before she set off on her perilous mission to save her home. A journey she was aware she may never return from --- I love @janegumball.bsky.social "The Unicorn" story so I was inspired to draw my own unicorn OC Karis in their art style 🩵
Sometimes I'll watch a movie and just have fun with it despite the flaws. I don't need it to be perfect. I don't know why film nerds expect every movie to be the next Citizen Kane when they're not trying to be, but demanding constant perfection from media sounds miserable.
Ya know something that bothers me? People who compare two pieces of media that have practically NOTHING in common besides from like one thing There are times where your enjoyment of one thing over the other really just comes down to personal preference what intrigues you more
