Writing is such a finicky drug. You never want to do it, for weeks and months and years, and then an idea just takes the reins on you. Suddenly you're cranking out page after page, high on your own imagination. Hours go by. You haven't eaten, sometimes you've put off sleep. Shit's awesome.

It's something I think about a lot when writing. Not everything in writing is an endorsement of the action. I've written characters that are starkly evil, and the body of lit with them in it is a condemnation of their actions, but some people make assumptions based on what's going on below.
