Been spending the last few days designing a fun screening experience for this week while simultaneously learning more about case law and statutes. My brain is really enjoying the juxtaposition between doing something creative and tapping into its monotropic strengths for pattern recognition.

Apologies for my outburst but seeing “horror journalist” from some of the biggest horror outlets who don’t understand that they’re quick literally putting themselves in the line of [legal] fire cause they won’t shut the fck up is astounding.

One word advice for those who have an issue with people speaking out - if you’re going to call someone a fraud, or say they scammed, stopped being a little bitch and show those receipts instead of acting like you’re all big and bad.

To follow up on my post from yesterday, I encourage those who are familiar with the people involved to ask questions. Ask them about the situation. Ask to see the evidence they claim exists against me. Ask for full context.

For the past year, I’ve been dealing w an incredibly painful and isolating experience involving people within my industry. Some of this stemmed from speaking openly about issues and individuals I felt strongly about, including political and ethical matters that I believed were important to address.
