IMO, Hegseth was promoted to a position to where it was mistakenly believed he would do the least amount of damage. Also, IMO as a retired Navy Chief, Hegseth has shown that he should not have been promoted above 2nd Lieutenant!
Kegbreath doesn't understand that ruling by fear is unsustainable. Putting forth that "the United States is a bully and we'll take what we want and you can't stop us" is what Israel has tried and the conflict just escalated and escalated until they became a pariah state.

Took an Uber today and left my phone under the armrest. I panicked when I realized it was gone. So I borrowed a phone to call mine to see if it was in the room. The Uber driver picked up. She had come back and was in the lobby trying to find me. There *are* good people amongst us.

Except, the paper bags we got at the grocery store were heavy duty. So, the book covers we made out of them lasted a long time.
It also doubles for a book cover. People near my age will understand that because it was what we spent the first day of school making for our books. .
